Joana started working with GNMC in 2023. She was invited to join the company as a dancer for the new creation “Natural Order of Things” that premiered in July 2024, in GREC Festival, Barcelona. After its national premiere, the piece had its international premiere in La Biennale di Venezia 2024. For 2025, the creation has a vast tour in Catalunya and Spain, China, Belgium, Switzerland and more countries to be added. Joana was nominated for “best female dancer” in the MAX Awards 2025 with her performance in “Natural Order of Things”.
Besides, she also joins the international tour of the works “Made of Space” and “Time Takes The Time Time Takes”, traveling to Germany, South Korea, Italy, Switzerland and around Spain where the company is based.
